Empowering homes and businesses across Auckland.
Legacy Electrical are Registered Master Electricians, offering electrical planning, repairs and maintenance across West Auckland, South Auckland, East Auckland, North Auckland and Central Auckland, on a 24/7 basis. We provide commercial and industrial electrical maintenance during normal business hours, plus after-hours emergency callouts across Auckland for urgent repairs and wiring maintenance. The team is headed by Alex Gallagher, our lead registered electrician.
Family owned & operated
We’re an Auckland local, family owned and operated electrical contracting business — professional, reliable and efficient. We believe in honest and fair pricing, thorough project management, and giving you complete peace of mind. We can work around night works or building schedule requirements to minimise disruption, and when the job is done, we take away the rubbish and leave your site clean and tidy.
Many Auckland businesses have already chosen to work with us. Our range of electrical services includes electrical maintenance, emergency electrical repairs, office electrical design and fitout, facilities management contracts, preventative and regular maintenance contracts, generator maintenance, switchboard upgrades and replacement, factory lighting and power installations, electrical fault finding, electrical inspections (including those required for Building Warrant of Fitness completion), test and tag appliance testing, and electrical automation/smart appliance help — with 24/7 call-outs anywhere in the Auckland region.
Qualifications
Our team of qualified electricians has experience with power circuits and outlets, exterior/interior and landscape lighting, transformers, harmonic filtration equipment, exit and emergency lights, and network lighting. All of our electricians are registered with the New Zealand Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) and hold current practising licences; apprentices are fully supervised. Our registered electricians issue the Certificates of Compliance and other electrical safety certificates required for the prescribed electrical work they carry out. Legacy also provides electrical inspection services, helping reduce the potential for hazards or system faults, and Alex Gallagher holds Electrical Inspector registration with the EWRB.
No job too big or too small
We design, maintain and fix electrical circuits for small businesses, government departments, commercial and retail businesses, laboratories, and hotels or apartment complexes. We work regularly with Auckland property landlords, facility managers and business owners to provide a dependable, professional electrical service with great communication, helping you balance costs with benefits to make future-proof electrical decisions.
